Restaurant in the Yorkshire Dales at Stone House Hotel near Hawes
In our attractive restaurant you can enjoy superb English breakfasts, light lunches, afternoon teas, delicious dinners, fine wines and attentive service.
Spencer Metcalfe joined us in June 1997 as a trainee chef, and last year became Head Chef. He is originally from the village of Appersett, just outside Hawes.
Lee Sutcliffe begun working at Stone House halfway through 2011. He joins us from a restaurant in Leeds, moving back to the valley of Bishopdale where he grew up.
Brad Ellis also joined the team during the 2011 season. Brad was born and raised in Hawes, and studied at Kendal College.
Along with his team Spencer prepares superb, locally sourced traditional food cooked fresh every day.
