Andrew and Helen Macleod joined the team at Stone House in May 2008. Andrew has taken over the Head Chef position whilst his wife Helen is looking after the front of house. Both have had first class experience in London working with Gordon Ramsay (Petrus Restaurant), Gary Rhodes (City Rhodes) and Paul Heathcote (Simply Heathcotes).
Together with his team, Andrew is busy preparing a range of new menus for breakfast, light lunch, afternoon tea and dinner! The dinner menu changes daily and offers a choice of delicious dishes using fresh ingredients sourced from the dales wherever possible. From the succulent local lamb and beef reared on the limestone pastures to the delicious range of Wensleydale cheeses, fresh fish, vegetarian options, homemade breads and heavenly puddings - our chefs aim to please.
Helen is working with our local staff to ensure the smooth running of the front of house.
